Chapter 7

“Well then, bring us there!” Gobb yelled. An alarm had gone off that something was on the grounds. Gobb got in an argument with a worker. Brandon wanted to leave. But if he did, his chance of survival would drop to lower than, well, very low. Gobb could help him.
Beep! Gobb was on the conveyor belt again. It was odd that Gobb couldn’t walk. He had rocky arms and a whole carved in face, but he was missing the convenient part, legs.
“Get on now!” bossed Gobb in his usual grouchy way.
“Yeah, yeah I’m coming!” shouted Brandon, shaking a worker off his leg.
Gobb noticed the little creature. “Amanda, you gotta train that son of yours, he’s sucking on people’s feet!”
“Merp blubewew,” a worker said as it took the little creature away.
Brandon hopped onto Gobb at the second he started rising back up to the grassland.
“Watch your feet!” Gobb yelled when he stopped at the land, “You kicked…” Gobb trailed off.
“What?” Brandon asked.
“That,” Gobb whispered, pointing at the bottom of the mountains. There was a creature marching out from between the two mountains. It looked like a living furball, and it was no larger than Brandon. It was black as night and wearing a stuffed full backpack.
“What is it?” asked Brandon, partly afraid. Brandon walked around Gobb and the crouched down so he could see Gobb’s face.
Gobb squinted his eyes and said quietly,”It’s a creature. They belong in the city, lurking around in some random advanced society. They don’t care much ‘bout the environment.” He shrugged,”Probably some tourist.”
Gobb told the workers of S.O.M.L. that it was a false alarm through a radio or something. Gobb was about to twist down again when they both noticed, that the creature noticed they were there.
“He sees us,”Brandon whispered as quiet as a pin drop.
“That’s not bad really,” Gobb whispered back.
“Is that bad?” Brandon asked quietly.
The creature was now running towards them. Brandon was trapped in his sight, his legs shivered but would not agree to lift him up. Basing your thoughts on Gobb’s terror-struck expression, he wouldn’t be doing much either at the moment.
The creature reached them in what felt like an hour. In reality, it took only a few minutes. The thick black hairball had white and black eyes and had an odd stick-man like mouth. It caught its breath, putting a skinny black hand on top of Gobb’s head.

       Chapter 6

Brandon was amazed. Gobb was spinning fast down into the ground. When he was half way down, he stopped. “Hop on,” he said eyeing the chair like groove in his back.
“Well, OK,”Brandon said. He sat down and Gobb started spinning. Dirt and rock flew into the air around them. Gobb was spinning faster and going into the ground while Brandon was getting pulled to the center of Gobb.
“Wha? Ah! Gobb!”yelled Brandon. Gobb stopped, not fully underground.
    “Oh, thank you!”said Brandon.
“No, do you hear that?”asked Gobb skimming the area.
Brandon heard something in the mountains. It sounded like Hunery and Samion, two famous wrestlers, were in a grand fight. Or, Jordan Flink, the bully of the school, when he didn't get his pizza first. (Brandon giggled at that) Brandon was so caught up in his ideas, that he didn't notice that Gobb was starting to turn again. Bracing himself, Brandon held on for dear life as Gobb whizzed around.
They entered a smooth grey cave with few pebbles at the bottom. Stalactites dripping with green liquid hung on the ceiling. Tunnels went every which way, and little black creatures as big as bats peeped like chicks through their snake like mouths.
Brandon tucked his legs in as not to get bitten on the toes. A big grey and blue glowing blur zoomed past him. “G-Gobb!” yelled Brandon as another almost knocked him off Gobb’s back. “Wow, you need seatbelts,”murmured Brandon.
    “Ah, home,”breathed Gobb.
“Gobb, that thing almost killed me!”
“Oh, that's just the S.O.M.L. team. ‘Stands for Spies Of Magi-Land. You know, they're  the good guys. Every land needs them.”
That made Brandon think of his land. “Gobb, why am I here?”
Gobb eyed him suspiciously and said, “You’ve got to know this by now.”
After Gobb finished explaining Brandon asked, “So basically, we are destroying our earth and sometimes coming to your place when the wizard wants us to and we are cutting down trees. And, wait, you take your energy off poo?”
“Yeah, and if you don’t wear a mask to block the smell in a power plant, you’ll faint! You guys sure are smelly!” giggled Gobb. Then, Gobb looked at Brandon quickly. “Sorry,” he said, trying to sound honest.
“So, what are we doing here?” asked Brandon.
“Yes, that, we will get to that,” said Gobb. “Get off me, my arthritis is already quite bad.”
So, Brandon climbed off, and Gobb pressed a button beside him. Turns out, he was sitting on a conveyer belt and he started moving towards. Guessing by the way he shouted at workers around the cave, Brandon guessed he was the boss.
“Frank, great job there!” yelled Gobb, “Oh, Shelly, don't forget the farewell cake for Sam!”
Many workers and S.O.M.L. members glanced at Brandon, who was walking beside Gobb. When they reached the end of the conveyer belt, it made a loud, rusty sound and almost rolled Gobb over when it stopped. “Ah, here,” said Gobb. He was staring into a giant tablet embedded in stone. He tapped on an icon with a happy face on it, and he started playing this happy face platformer game.
    “Uh, Gobb?” said Brandon.
“Wait, need to get the daily 5 coins! You get that from getting 120 score in one game.” said Gobb holding up a finger, but then shooting it back onto the tablet.
“And the adventure waits, yet another long enough time,” moaned Brandon.
“There!” said Gobb. “I got Lattly Alleyness. He’s the character that I've been saving up for. But, to the point then. So…” Gobb pressed on an icon that had a picture of crumbling grey rock on then, he pressed on a map button that had appeared along with an animal button, a computer button, and a sword button on the screen. Then, he press on a button that had a picture of a tall stone brick castle with skinny turrets and moss growing up the sides.
One worker hurried over to a black metal square with a small slit near to the top on it. A magenta paper flew out of the slit. Then, it flashed and it turned into a map. Brandon picked it up. Gobb handed him a long piece of grass and Brandon tied up the map like a scroll.

Chapter 5

Hal snapped his book closed and put it away. He washed his dishes, he made his bed, he ate his lunch, and he packed a suitcase full of food and some tools like a knife and a saw. Then, he strapped a sword to his belt and set off, locking his door behind him. He walked a meter and then he went back to his house and decided he would go in the morning.
After eating a large breakfast, Hal set off… again. He told anyone on the street who would listen about his quest. A monster gave him a compass and a map. He met his neighbor creature, Granny Elise and she gave him a backpack and a muffin.
Just on his way out the city, he met an ogre. “Howdy! Where yah goin’?” He asked.
“I’m going to the wizard tower,” Hal replied. Then, the ogre hopped out of his monster truck and opened the trunk. He pulled out a wrapped up camping mattress and stuck it into Hal’s backpack.
“Ya might need this,” he said.
“Oh, that is so…” Hal started. But, before he could finish his reply, the ogre drove away, leaving Hal in a cloud of dust.
Hal started walking again, out of the city. The city wasn’t very big, and it did not take long after the ogre left for Hal to set food on soft grass.
Majestic mountains stood in front of him. Beside, beautiful blue and purple and green and yellow forests. Behind, was green grassland. Animals lurked around and birds chirped on high branches.
He decided to go in between the mountains. It seemed like a good idea, but once he got half way through, Hal realized it wasn’t the best idea he had ever thought of. It wasn’t worth going all the way back through so he just kept going.
A few minutes later Hal smacked himself in the face. He was just mad at himself for being so thoughtless of what was coming. A bird dropping fell on his head and thought of two words: hissy fit. That seemed to suit his feelings so he listened to them and carefully dropped his luggage off to the side. Then he moved a few metres away and started to yell and jump and get all his anger away.
Two minutes later of punching the air Hal finally gathered himself up. He took all his luggage and hauled them over his back then he started to walk again at a quick pace but he was careful not to bump into the chalk like gray mountain sides.
As he twisted himself through the narrow paths between the mountains he finally spotted light.

                                         Chapter 4

"Is there anything we can do of your service?" asked Oaky.
"Like that wizard thing," said Oaka sounding like she wanted Brandon to ask for advice.
Brandon didn't feel like moving. First he ran into a giant ogre thing telling him to get to a wizard tower. How was he supposed to start talking to a pair of trees? Brandon moved his lips but nothing came out.
"Let me help you," said Oaka tired of waiting for his answer. "The wizard tower is over there, and you will find it passed my friend Gobb. He's a rock and his nose is quite sharp. His face is kind of rough. Find him, the wizard tower is in your hands," She lifted a branch arm up pointing the direction of forest and hills.
     "Th-Thanks," said Brandon shakily.
After the trees said goodbye, Brandon headed out on his search for the wizard castle. Every few minutes, a green and yellow tree would shout out at him when the blue a purple ones stood still and silent.
He walked on until he could see a flat, flowery grassland. At the edge, was a large stone that was about the shape of a chair. Brandon sighed with relief as he sat down in the stone. he felt like he hadn't stopped walking in years. But, he also felt like he was being wiggled a jiggled around.
     "Who's there?" Boomed a voice.
     "It's me." Brandon answered.
     "Who?"
"Oh, you wouldn't of heard of me, I'm a human."
The rock shuddered. "Come around to the front will you?" the voice said.
Brandon noticed the voice was coming from the rock. So, he slowly walked around the side of the rock and saw a rough carving of a man's face in the rock. He fitted Oaka's description quite well.
    "Gobb?" asked Brandon.
"It is he," said the rock
"I was wondering if you could show me to the wizard tower," said Brandon felling silly of talking to trees and now a rock.
"The wizard tower? Not for a slim, weak boy like you. Human child!" scolded Gobb.
Brandon swished his brown hair to the side. This rock was getting offensive!
"No, Oaka and, well... Oaky told me you could help me," Brandon insisted.
"Oaka you say," Gobb said, a dreamy look coming across his carved face. "OK, tell me what you need."
Now, Brandon knew how to convince Gobb. He spotted movement behind him in the forest, so he whispered "I need to go to the wizard tower. How many times do I have to tell you?"
"I'll see what I can do," replied Gobb.

                                                Chapter 3

"Why is people coming here bad? Only one person can use the portal so, one less manure can't be a big difference!" Thought Hal rolling his eyes. He lay on his bed thinking. Thinking of questions. What if this? How could that? He decided to get out a book. He selected a book called Magi land portals and all you Need To Know: A Manual.

He flipped to page 32 All About Portals and  read:

The portal: the portal is a small coin. The portal coin will transport you to the world famous Jan's shop. Every 4 years something magics the coin up to the human world and one human comes into Magi-land. The magician that sends the coin up is the wizard who owns the wizard castle. Why? You might ask. Well, we do this because one human can unlock the spell of  giantray, the beautiful giant queen of  Magi-land who was thrown under a mountain of hard materials called gentoriges. Only a human can break them and set our queen free.

Why is this bad: humans are mistreating our inviroment. They are chopping down trees and getting bad chemicals into water. Their world is already wrecked. Some trees are forbidden to be  chopped down because they release gentoriges. If the humans got our queen locked away, they should stay away from here.

Why is nothing being done: Although humans give us our power and electricity, the wizard insists on sending the penny up on hope to find the one who give us and our queen peace.

Gentoriges: The gentotrees that got cut down are leaking gentoriges double the amount they have been on average. Magi police are not seeming to stop the wizard and the gentoriges are being found in some food and drinks all over Magi-land.

“That is it!” Hal said. “I’m going to that wizard!”

                                                                    Chapter two

Hal walked off the stage for another boring speech about how bad it is and how we can't fix it. Their world was really in danger, but how? Yes, there was stories about a "dragon". But no one saw it so... What could be the matter? He listened to another speech about all the bad things like fiwi or something closing down. 'But why?' He thought. Hal had asked a few people already but they shrieked or told him buzz off.
At the end of the meeting, Hal walked over to the host and asked him,"What is causing this madness?" The host, Brendard (as it said on a small badge on his chest) gave him a look and said,"We're not the only world out there, there's another one. The passage to get here, a small coin, has been thrown back to the other world where the old master used to reign. Now that it is up there, the power source is low. Well, I mean, you know medicine, fiwi or wifi, elecontics or something, in the other world. They are without it and, and, I am not supposed to tell you this but, our power, it feeds on their natural matter...manure. Plus, did you hear about the dragon? Go on, I didn't just talk to you. You're  a grown up." "Sheesh!" murmured Hal returning to his apartment.

"The wizard tower?" thought Brandon out loud after half an hour of trudging through the roots of purple-blue trees. "The tower, he wants the tower? The wizard tower. Ooo, whee hah." Whispered squeaky voices from behind him."Who's there?" Yelled Brandon looking around him. "We are"said one of the voices."Yes, for sixty three years we have." Croaked a second voice that was mutch lower.
"What the..." Whispered Brandon not having any sign of a small animal or bug. But then, he spotted two yellow and green trees. One with a round nose, and the other with bumpy cheeks. "Is that you?"
asked Brandon. "Oh, ya tots! I'm oaka" squeaked the round nosed tree. "I'm oaky, not OK by the way." Said the bumpy cheeked low voiced tree. "Er, um... Hi" said Brandon shaking.

Magi land

 MAGI-LAND
Where life is magi-c

CHAPTER 1
Into the portal…
“Uh, I'm so tired,” moaned Brandon as he shuffled through the mud in his wet soccer clothes.
“You couldn't be too tired but really! Why would the first day of a 10 year old soccer tournament be a severe rain storm… and, those coaches weren't taking the poor children off the field when we saw lightning!” Raged Brandon's mother. Brandon’s mom was just making it worse for him. He suddenly felt an urge to run away. Just around the bend and then he would come back. So he did.

“Something bad is happening to our land,”  said Hal the creature. “Hal, it's horrible!” Cried a female voice from the crowd. “Stay strong, friends. We are are the creatures and the creatures we stay,” said Hal proudly on the stage.
“We are the creatures and the creatures we stay,” repeated the crowd. “We will save our land and I guarantee, we will not fail,”said Hal quietly.

“Can you tell me where I am?” Brandon asked staring into the greenish sky. Brandon had seen something caught in a tree. It was a blanket with a coin in it. He took the coin and it brought  him to this odd place with a green sky and a blue land that wasn't water. The Empire State Building was right beside the leaning tower of Pisa. Was it a parallel universe? No, it couldn’t be, those aren’t real. His mind was spinning. “Really, where am I?” wondered Brandon out loud. “You’re in magi-land, the mythical place where many of the magical community are together in harmony... or are supposed to be,” Said a voice from behind him. Brandon turned around to see a gigantic monster with navy skin and ripped leather clothing. “Who are you?”asked Brandon. “My name’s Jan. I'm the owner of the most famous shop in all of magi-land, but hurry up. I don't have all day. I have customers to tend to!” Roared Jan. “Do you know how I could get back to earth?”Brandon asked. “Earth? I... go to the wizard. He lives in a big castle. He can help you.” Answered Jan softly. “Thanks…I guess.” Said Brandon.
